As I have gotten quite a few new watchers over the past few months or so, I felt it might be a good time to post a little essay explaining a few things.

This is mainly meant for those new watchers, but my long time watchers can also read it if they like, as it might help to clear up any misunderstandings about my process in dealing with posts on dA.

As most of you might know, I try to always watch back anyone who watches me. Because oi that, I have nearly as many people I'm watching as those watching me.(actually more, because there are a few I watch who do not watch me back) I am also a member of a couple groups that tend to have a fairly prolific membership, in terms of the number of posts each day... which leads inevitably to the fact that I usually have at least 100, and sometimes as high as 200 new pieces of art to view each day (and that's not counting thank you and welcome messages and any other messages I need to deal with) (to say nothing of email, facebook and GooglePlus messages, messages on YouTube and so on... let's just say lots and lots of messages on a daily basis)

Because of all these messages, I simply do not have time to comment, thank, send welcomes and so forth as much as I might wish. This is why I tend to fav so much, and nearly always fav and run. So if I am faving your work, but not commenting, please do not think it means any less... the fav IS the comment, I like it enough to add it to my extensive list of favs... I just don't have time to post a message.

Also, I seldom respond to any messages posted on my profile, unless there is a direct question or some sort of comment that warrants a response. I appreciate the "thank you" and "welcome" messages posted there, but again, I usually do not have the time to respond to them all. Occasionally I might respond to something posted to my profile, if while reading my messages, there is only one profile message instead of a stack of them... but when there are more than one profile (or gallery) message I usually ignore them after looking to see if any actually NEED a direct response.

I hope you all can understand this. I wish I had the time to comment, and thank and say welcome to every single message that comes in, but I don't, even if I had nothing else to do, I would never get caught up.

I also want to mention, at the risk of shameless self-promotion, that I have a very extensive collection of prints for sale, as well as offering most of my MB3D fractal work in many other forms... I have prints, wrapped canvases, greeting cards, postcards, mousepads, coasters, magnets, and mugs available too. And I am more than willing to alter anything in my prints gallery to suit your preferences... if you don't like the black borders, or you want a special size, or any other special adjustments, please do not hesitate to ask!

I would greatly love to start making a few more sales, although I realize most of us don't really have the money to spend and we are here to make and display art, not purchase it. But I would also say that you can feel free to link to my gallery on social media if you think any of your friends might be interested in purchasing any of my work.

And finally, I'd like to mention, I may have some sort of record for the number of favs... if you are ever looking for new artists, if you like fractals especially, take some time to browse my favorites folder...you will find the work of many amazing artists here on dA in there! (some of it may even be your own!)

And finally, I would like to add, thanks to everyone who watches, comments and appreciates my art. I do appreciate every fav, every view, every comment, even if I do not get the chance to say so!

I now have both a Facebook page and an account on FineArtAmerica... so if you wish, please take a moment to visit those.
