I was listening to some old Genesis music tonight, after looking up links for "the carpet crawlers" fraterchaos.deviantart.com/art… and then began listening to a remastered version of their wonderful (perhaps their best) LP "Foxtrot" on YouTube www.youtube.com/watch?v=yS0WS9… which I would highly recommend listening to...
Anyway, I happened to listen to the song "Get 'Em Out By Friday" and was struck by how oddly the lyrics tied into things that are actually happening in the world today... sure, the lyrics at the end of the song go a little further than anyone has gone so far, but honestly, it wouldn't surprise me even a little...
So, just to show what I'm alluding to, here are the lyrics... after reading them, think about the recent housing crises, and about all the wonderful things the Repugnant Party is doing to the lower and middle classes in America lately...
"Get 'Em Out By Friday"
John Pebble of Styx Enterprises
"Get 'em out by Friday!
You don't get paid till the last one's well on his way.
Get 'em out by Friday!
It's important that we keep to schedule, there must be no delay."
Mark Hall of Styx Enterprises (otherwise known as "The Winkler")
"I represent a firm of gentlemen who recently purchased this
house and all the others in the road,
In the interest of humanity we've found a better place for you
to go, go-woh, go-woh"
Mrs. Barrow (a tenant)
"Oh no, this I can't believe,
Oh Mary, they're asking us to leave."
Mr. Pebble
"Get 'em out by Friday!
I've told you before, 's good many gone if we let them stay.
And if it isn't easy,
You can squeeze a little grease and our troubles will soon run away."
Mrs. Barrow
"After all this time, they ask us to leave,
And I told them we could pay double the rent.
I don't know why it seemed so funny,
Seeing as how they'd take more money.
The winkler called again, he came here this morning,
With four hundred pounds and a photograph of the place he has found.
A block of flats with central heating.
I think we're going to find it hard."
Mr. Pebble
"Now we've got them!
I've always said that cash cash cash can do anything well.
Work can be rewarding
When a flash of intuition is a gift that helps you
excel-sell-sell-sell."
Mr. Hall
"Here we are in Harlow New Town, did you recognise your block
across the square, over there,
Sadly since last time we spoke, we've found we've had to raise
the rent again,
just a bit."
Mrs. Barrow
"Oh no, this I can't believe
Oh Mary, and we agreed to leave."

humanoid height."
Extract from coversation of Joe Ordinary in Local Puborama
"I hear the directors of Genetic Control have been buying all the
properties that have recently been sold, taking risks oh so bold.
It's said now that people will be shorter in height,
they can fit twice as many in the same building site.
(they say it's alright),
Beginning with the tenants of the town of Harlow,
in the interest of humanity, they've been told they must go,
told they must go-go-go-go."
Sir John De Pebble of United Blacksprings International
"I think I've fixed a new deal
A dozen properties - we'll buy at five and sell at thirty four,
Some are still inhabited,
It's time to send the winkler to see them,
he'll have to work some more."

fundraiser
So, once again I find myself having to ask for donations, if anyone out there can and wants to donate. I was hoping I would not need to do this, as I thought my stimulus money and income tax returns would get me through the rest of this year, but I ended up spending almost $2000 getting my truck repaired and inspected, and now I find I am almost broke again. Needing small donations to help pay rent and insurance and my internet service for the next couple months probably... while I determine what i plan to do for the future... If you can help out, that would be great, but if not, thanks anyway, I know most people are hurting as badly or worse than I am right now. I prefer direct donations to my paypal at fraterchaos@protonmail.com over the GoFundMe site... but either is appreciated! https://www.gofundme.com/f/zcaur-quarantine-assistance?utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=customer&utm_campaign=p_lico%20share-sheet
Asking for your help
once again, I'm having to ask if anyone out there can maybe help out a bit? I got a call today about my internet bill... I need to come up with about $100 to pay the past due part, and almost $200 to be square with them. I would really like to not be stuck without internet service, but I just do not have the money to cover it now, as rent and insurance are also due. And the part about my truck still applies So, please, if anyone out there can help a bit, that would be awesome. I know everyone is on hard times right now, but even $10 from a few of my friends would make a huge difference. And as always, I prefer if you can send it by paypal (details below) as it arrives more quickly that way. Last week, the starter went out on my truck, so now I have no transportation at all. I'm not going to have enough money to cover all my bills this month, even not counting the new starter (starter will cost about $83 plus tax) and I need at least $50 for insurance, and I'm behind about
UPDATE
So, I am not at all happy with how Journals work in this new version... seems as far as I can tell, there's no way to edit an existing journal entry... So, anyway... to update my last entry, I'm currently suffering a bit of financial issues, due to Covid19 and the ongoing issues surrounding that. I am posting a link to my GoFundMe account, in case anyone out there would feel generous and wish to help out... no big deal as I know most of you are probably having troubles of your own. But I'll post the link anyway, and also mention that you can also help out by donating directly to my Paypal account, which I actually prefer as it avoids paying GFM an 8% fee... so, if you wish, please donate to fraterchaos@protonmail.com or visit http://gf.me/u/xx8nfc and thanks for taking the time to read this, even if you can't donate at this time.
if you're feeling generous
