I'm having trouble finding that program, or any program really, that produces 3d fractals. I'd really like to learn more about them. If you could give me sort of a starting point I'd be really grateful ^^
ah ok, I assume you mean Mandelbulb 3D... here is a link to the downloads page on FractalForums where can find the latest release for free: [link]
you may also want to go to [link] scroll down to the bottom of the first post, and find a link for "new formulas.zip" and download that as well. It may have some formulas that have been changed or updated since the last new release of the main program.
Also, for getting started using the program, check out [link] that is the #XtremeFractals group's resources page, which has tons of tutorials for nearly all fractal programs... and maybe consider joining the #XtremeFractals group as it is a great place to share, learn and find help...
the best beginner's tutorials are also available in the gallery of directly, I'm sure they are also linked in the group, but you can find them by going straight to Hal's gallery as well.
And if you have any trouble, or need advice, just ask... me or anyone in the MB3D community, everyone is very happy to help out!
thanks!
