well it's actually a hybrid of MengerIFS and PolyPyraIFS (i fi remember right) and the "star" part is the PolyPyraIFS while the cube part is the Menger...

I seriously like the composition of this. The "smooth" star in the back, coupled with the "textured" cube in the middle really make for an awesome combo. If I were to offer anything to improve this, it would be to add something in the background. Nothing too fancy, but the gray background seems a bit too "plain". A slight texture to the background would be a 100% improvement for an already great image!

glad you like it... I considered a background but I was trying to get more of a nice shadow effect behind the object, to give it more realism... unfortunately the shadows just didn't come out as dark as I wanted... if I do another similar one, I'll try a background to see if I like it better
