the title for this came about because in a way it reminded me somewhat of the style of the graphic artist called Moebius from the old Heavy metal magazine... and probably his best known work "The Airtight Garage of Jerry Cornelius"
As it somewhat reminded me of his style, I felt I should give it some strange name along the same lines, but nothing would come to me that wasn't just too similar... then somehow this title popped into my head... so there ya go.

ah I did not know that... I think I may have read some Moorcock years ago... didn't he write the Elric novels? (did I spell that right?)
I used to be a big fan of the Heavy Metal magazine, back in the late 70's and early 80's and one of their artists Moebius had a long running strip. The somewhat grainy style and less mechanical look of this reminded me a bit of his art, and I wanted a title with the same rhythm as the title of his strip...
ah... not sure, I recently found a torrent of a huge collection of sci-fi books, probably a couple thousand books, but I don't know if it includes any Moorcock or not, probably does. I'll have to look and if there's any there, re-read them.
