I was playing with 's new illusion parameters, trying to achieve what he describes here: [link] but I was mostly unsuccessful, couldn't seem to get the corners right no matter what I did.
So I was messing with it and decided to try to make a pentagram, and got this... it's not perfect either, as the sides do not quite line up perfectly at the points, but it's fairly close.

well, I have seen a normal impossible hexagram, Lux did one I believe, right after Luca introduced the triangle... [link] it's not two triangles, but instead a continuous line, but it IS a hexagram
well, technically, these things like the pentagram and some of the other stuff are not actually fractals in a strict sense, all the dIFS formulas are more or less a method of creating simple shapes in MB3D along with fractals or in a stand alone manner, something like having Bryce or Blender functions added into MB3D... but yes, all in MB has a lot of variations and things one can do. Because you can use up to six fractal formulas at once, you can find amazing things in the hybrid fractals.
On the other hand, I don't know if the work from MB would lend itself quite as well to the kind of Composition work you do now... I've played a bit with combining MB3D elements in Photoshop, and gotten interesting results, but nothing even close to the beauty that you create with yours!
i wonder if would be possible create a impossible hexagram, as 2 Penrose triangles ,one flipped upside down melted...
As now i am obsessed by something different ...sort of neolithic caves with altars and idols...
but i should try
again nice render and the bg fit well
it's not two triangles, but instead a continuous line, but it IS a hexagram
thanks!
I Need To Start Looking At Some Mandelbulb Tutorials To Learn How To Properly Use This Application.
It Would Appear It Is Far More Versatile Than I Though Based On The Marvelous Creations You're Producing.
